Imporatant Dates To Remember:
The 2016 Alabama primary will be on March 1, 2016.
Qualifying for election for judicial races and RNC delegates begins on Monday, October 5, 2015 at 8:30 AM and ends on Friday, November 6, 2015 at 5:00 PM. Qualifying for those races will be at the Alabama Republican Party Headquarters at 3505 Lorna Road, Birmingham, AL 35216 during normal business hours.
Qualifying for local county races - other than judicial races - will be from Friday, October 23, 2015 at 8:30 AM until Friday, November 6, 2015 at 5:00 PM. Local races this cycle include District Attorney and Assistant District Attorney, Jefferson County Board of Education, Treasurer and Assistant Treasurer and all constables. To make an appointment to sign qualifying papers for the local county races, please contact Chairman Sallie Bryant for an appointment. Both Sallie and Grady will be glad to meet you at state party headquarters or at a location that is convenient for you to get you signed up to run.
